Emotional First Aid: When Disaster Strikes

New Live Virtual Training:

Emotional First Aid: When Disaster Strikes” — Fundraiser for Maui Fire Relief

Led by Simone Seol + Melissa Tiers

Sunday August 20th

9AM HT / 3PM ET / 9PM CET

Come be part of the solution.

How do you support people who might have just lost everything? Three things you want to know:

1. Research-backed techniques to help disaster victims with rapid emotional relief,

2. Ways to arm them with techniques to down-regulate the nervous system to mitigate the effects of post traumatic stress, and

2. Knowing what NOT to say or do to prevent accidental harm (because, sometimes, knowing what to avoid doing is even more important than knowing what to do.)

These are life-saving skills.

A special workshop on all of the above will be taught by the founders of the Ethical Coaching Collective: Melissa Tiers, multi-award-winning author, coach, and hypnosis trainer, and Simone Seol, author, change worker, and co-trainer of Integrative Change Work.

The class is open to practitioners, as well as non-practitioners who want to learn ways to help themselves, or those who have suffered disaster.

Registration for the class comes with a minimum donation of $5. Please give more if you can.

The class is FREE to residents of Maui.

(Email [email protected] if you're a Maui resident and we will send you details)

Zoom link for the live class will be sent to your email, and the replay will be available to all registrants.

About the Fundraiser:

Support Lahaina Fire Relief Efforts: Your Contribution Matters.

Amidst the devastating Lahaina fires, over 1000 people are still missing and countless are left without access to the basic necessities: shelter, food, water, bathrooms, power, and internet for communicating with friends and family. Join us in aiding those affected by the fires by donating today.

What We've Achieved So Far:

๐Ÿš’ Halting the Blaze: Our farms stood as a crucial line of defense. By establishing fire breaks ahead of time, we successfully stopped the fire's advance, preventing further destruction of infrastructure and property along the coastline - and protecting the critical coral reefs located along the edge of the farm.

๐Ÿค Community Support: We're collaborating with local partners, nonprofits, and influential voices to provide immediate relief. Through strategic coordination, we're addressing urgent needs efficiently.

Immediate Needs:

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Shelter: Shelters are overflowing, leaving many without a safe place to stay. Your donation can help provide temporary housing, basic necessities, and a sense of security.

๐Ÿ” Food & Water: Thousands are without access to basic necessities like food and clean water. Your contribution can ensure that families have nourishment during this challenging time.

๐Ÿ”Œ Communication & Connectivity: With our Starlink satellite internet and communication hubs, we're helping people connect with loved ones and access essential information. Our hub also serves as a crucial platform for those seeking lost loved ones.

Our dedicated teams are setting up essential infrastructure, fueled by our personal investments and our 501c3 Nonprofit. We're leveraging social media and working with influencers to rally volunteers and resources.

Your donation holds immense power. With it, we can continue providing vital services to our immediate community. Situated on the frontlines, our farms provide access to land, water, and sustenance, while our machinery ensures efficient resource management. Collaboration is at the heart of our mission. We're proud partners of nonprofits like Sustainable Surf, and local experts including electricians, plumbers, and solar specialists. Our work with the Big Wave community, Zane and Matty Schwéitzer, further amplifies our impact, and by engaging with local organizations and businesses, we're securing resources for recovery efforts. As the situation evolves, we invite you to stand with us.

How Your Donation Helps:

By donating, you're directly supporting relief efforts that matter:

Offering a safe haven for the displaced.

Providing sustenance to those who've lost everything.

Reconnecting families and friends.

Every dollar you contribute goes directly to providing shelter, food, and communication resources to those affected by the fires. Join us in rebuilding our community. Your donation can provide comfort, sustenance, and hope during this challenging time.

Stand with Lahaina today.
